WHAT IS TRUE CONVERSION?

Question: Is there a difference when a conversion happens because you willed it or when a conversion happens that is more of man’s doing?

God’s answer:

Sales talk
There’s buyer’s remorse.

Question: When does this buyer’s remorse happen?

God’s answer:

All hype
when their product falls short.

Question: How can this happen if in converting to Christianity, they really get into you (as how most new converts are)?

God’s answer:

False teachings
I don’t conform. I respond differently.

New family
They don’t live out the gospel.

These are the two reasons, one has to do with their expectation of God, according to what was told to them and the other is their expectation about the members of the church.

Question: Why do you say false teachings?

God’s answer:

Sales people lie. They say whatever you want to hear to
get you to buy.

Question: Why do you say that the members of the church affect how they feel about their faith, in a way that my take is that it only matters to people who are not “true converts”?

God’s answer:

It’s part of the package. I Am not the only reason – others matter.

whereas, the faithful keep their eyes on the cross.

Question: So, these false conversions happen across the board (all Christian churches)?

God’s answer:

I Am a marketing ploy.
They are selling their church, they’re not selling Me.
